The company ties 60% of its executives’ bonuses to their achievement of ambitious targets for a weighted average of four financial indicators: return on grad, capital, profitability, cash flow, and essay on human, operating cost. The Los Angeles Film School’s Career Development Department is conducting a search for an industry-savvy Career Advisor to work with students and graduates in essays of elia my relations our Entertainment Business program.
This is an exciting opportunity to help new talent navigate their way through the exciting world of Entertainment Business, including the film and television industries, post-production, video games, and more. Essay Interaction? We’re seeking an energetic, personable professional with at least 5 years of experience in the Entertainment and statement school Business field, as well as a wide range of established contacts in the industry. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Conduct one-on-one career advisory meetings with students and graduates to essay on human interaction, provide guidance and help them secure employment; conduct additional “Open Door” Advisory Meetings, as needed. • Conduct ongoing graduate outreach to twice, monitor employment status and essay interaction collect detailed data. • Work in conjunction with the Industry Outreach team to recommend, screen, and submit candidates for open internships and jobs. • Assist graduate candidates with tailoring resumes and cover letters to specific jobs. • Collaborate with the Career Development team to deliver Monthly Resume Workshops and Internship Information Sessions. • Network and develop relationships with industry professionals to lamb of elia, cultivate internship and job leads in the Entertainment Business field for students and graduates. • Maintain contact with alumni; research and track professional accomplishments of graduates. • Attend industry seminars, conventions, events and conferences (as requested).
• Liaison and collaborate with faculty and staff; actively contribute to inter-departmental and/or company-wide meetings and projects, as needed. • Conduct mock interviews with students and alumni, as necessary. • Maintain weekly office hours at essay on human, Los Angeles Film School to of women in india, establish/maintain relationships with students and faculty. • Attend/participate in monthly Orientations, exit interviews, graduation rehearsals, and graduation ceremonies. • Represent the Career Development Department to prospective students at monthly Open House presentations (one Saturday per essay on human month). • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Entertainment and Business industry. • Extensive network of industry contacts. • Teaching/coaching/advisement and/or public speaking ability a must. • Prior experience in an office environment strongly preferred. • Prior experience in sales strongly preferred!
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; great phone manner is development of women in india essay a must! • Strong proficiency with PC and Mac (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Keynote); ability to learn new programs as required. • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse student population. • Position requires discretion, patience, compassion, confidentiality, and tactful issue resolution. • Strong organizational skills, including time management, multi-tasking, and follow-through.
